SORVA and HeatSig

1. 01 What is SORVA?

   A ceiling light with HeatSig technology built in. It lights the room like any quality ceiling light, and alerts the people you choose if someone stops moving or a fire breaks out.

2. 02 What is HeatSig?

   HeatSig is the brand and the technology: the heat sensing, the AI that reads it, and the HeatSig app. SORVA is the light that carries it. HeatSig is developed in Singapore by Illuminating Asia.

3. 03 How does the technology work?

   Passive infrared sensors map warmth across the room. Machine learning distinguishes a person's warmth from other heat sources, such as electronics or pets. When it detects a sudden fall followed by stillness, it sends an alert to the HeatSig app. How HeatSig works

4. 04 Is it patented?

   Yes. HeatSig holds 6 patents, including US Patent No. 11,246,205 B1.

5. 05 Is SORVA a medical device or an emergency service?

   No. It does not diagnose conditions or call an ambulance. It alerts the people you choose, so they can help or call for help.

Alerts

1. 01 How fast is the alert?

   After 20 seconds without movement, a notification reaches the HeatSig app. If no one responds, HeatSig calls the people you have added within 1–3 minutes.

2. 02 What does it alert me to?

   Two things. Immobility: someone who has stopped moving, after a fall, a faint, or not being able to get up. And fire in the room.

3. 03 Can I change how long it waits?

   No. The timings are fixed for the fastest possible response, so there is nothing to configure. Each person chooses how to be alerted: in the app, on Telegram or by phone call.

4. 04 Who gets the alert?

   Everyone you add in the HeatSig app: family members, a neighbour, your helper or a carer.

5. 05 Is it a smoke alarm?

   No. SORVA alerts you to fire in the room, but keep the smoke alarms your home or local rules require.

Privacy

1. 01 Is there a camera?

   No. HeatSig senses heat only. It never records images or video, so there is nothing to see and nothing to leak.

2. 02 What does the app show?

   Which room, when, and a heat map of the moment: warm shapes, never faces.

Installing and using

1. 01 Does it fit my ceiling?

   It fits a standard ceiling light point. The installation tools are in the box.

2. 02 Do I need to calibrate it?

   No. The sensor comes calibrated; follow the short set-up in the app. If you ever receive a false alert, please let us know.

3. 03 Does the person at home need a phone?

   No. They do not need to wear, press or do anything. The alert goes straight to the people you have added.

The HeatSig app

1. 01 Which phones does it work on?

   Android and iOS.

2. 02 How do I add my family?

   Invite them in the HeatSig app. Once they install the app, they receive the alerts too.

3. 03 Can I turn off the calls and keep the notifications?

   Yes. Each person turns their own channels on or off: in-app notifications, Telegram and calls.

Buying and shipping

1. 01 How much is SORVA?

   SGD 800 for one light, with the HeatSig app.

2. 02 How do I pay?

   By card, when you order. After the order form you go to a secure Stripe checkout page, and your invoice follows by email.

3. 03 When does it ship?

   Pre-orders ship in Fall 2026, worldwide.

4. 04 What's in the box?

   One SORVA light, installation tools, a manual and a warranty card.

5. 05 How many can I order?

   Each order covers one SORVA, and quantities are limited until the public release. For several lights, place one order per light or contact us on WhatsApp.
