What is HeatSig?

Heatsig is a patented process of using light fittings integrated with thermal sensors to monitor activity or inactivity of people in urban spaces.

Our sensor is well-calibrated by default. No technical calibration is required; simply follow our simple onboarding process. However, if a false alert occurs at a certain height, feel free to let us know!

Yes. If an individual experiences a medical crisis, slips, or becomes unconscious, the heat-sensing radar detects the sudden shift in position followed by a complete lack of movement. The system immediately triggers a real-time alert via the control interface so that caregivers or emergency responders can act instantly.

HeatSig modules feature built-in heat sensors that continuously capture ambient body temperatures across hundreds of grid points on the floor. Our onboard AI and machine learning algorithms analyze these heat signatures to track presence, recognize crowd density, and detect anomalies (such as sudden falls or prolonged inactivity) without ever compromising user privacy.

It comes with one unit of HeatSig, necessary tools for installation, a manual, and a warranty card.

By creating a 2-in-1 hybrid device (illumination + sensor data), HeatSig significantly reduces the physical hardware, electrical cables, and separate components normally needed to run automation networks. Furthermore, its occupancy data can link directly with building management software to lower your facility’s energy footprint by automatically turning off empty zones.
